Ecopia aims to depict the value chain of its products and services and exemplify the processes involved as transparent as possible. The Ecopia database contains detailed information about ingredients, regional information as well as information about the processing itself.

The database was developed in order to protect the consumers and at a later stage to serve as an electronic marketplace in the form of a mobile reversed auction.
